The Student Government Association is the sole governing body of the student organizations at Western Connecticut State University. The SGA also acts as a representative voice of the entire student body. As a student, you are represented through the SGA in nearly every decision making body governing campus life. The purpose of the SGA is to: represent you on various University committees, serve as the voice of the student body, establish channels of communications within the University, fund campus activities, protect the rights and freedoms of individual students and student groups in academic/social areas.

Meetings are held every other Monday in the Student Center Room 202 or 201 at 8:15 pm, all meetings are open to the public.
